At the time everybody’s feed and timeline was full of concern regarding the emerging deep fake technology. Politics had entered the post truth era and Fact Checking was an emerging business.

The first panel, featuring John Lennon, was a tongue in cheek comment on the then ongoing Covid Craze - and sparked the start of this series. This is noteworthy, because it shows that the project started as a single panel comic.

I have contemplated if the series should be presented completely in a random order, chronologically in order of publication or in categories like:

Cultural Icons

The 27 Club

Anarchists

Psychonauts

Musicians

Science Fiction Authors

Historical Characters

Political Characters

Curious Characters

Unsorted Rarities

In the end I decided that they should be presented alphabetically, just because that was the easiest.

Each panel to itself. Each Quote Questionable. Each Bio Untrustworthy.

They lived, they died - and they where at one point in time remembered and researched by me.

So again, a curated work of literal high monobrow art.
